Manor House Orangeries

The manor house was undergoing a complete refurbishment by the owners. Our Bespoke Team was commissioned to design, make and fit all hardwood windows, doors, a new porch and two bespoke orangeries, all in collaboration with Future, the owner's building contractors, who we have worked with extensively since this project.

The brief was to replicate the leaded lights on the existing manor house windows but design a kitchen breakfast room on the east elevation and a living space with commanding views over the beautiful Warwickshire countryside.

We opted for Farrow & Ball 'Lichen' throughout the hardwood orangeries and windows, with the doors and porch in seasoned European oak finished in Osmo oil.

The house had dominant gables so we replicated these throughout the design of the orangeries with details such as inverted finials and leaded lights to the clerestory, on the south facing building we added an open air shelter where the clients enjoy al fresco dining even in inclement weather.
